The Farmer Veteran Coalition serves veterans as they embark on their agriculture careers. Joining the FVC is free and open to both veterans and non-veterans. The organization offers an annual conference each year and members can apply for the Farmer Fellowship Fund each year. To learn more about the group, click HERE.

Armed to Farm is a program offered by the National Center for Appropriate Technology for farmers and ranchers who are looking for reliable information on sustainable and organic agriculture. Check out the list of publications, tutorials, and calendar of events HERE.

The UDSA can help veterans transition into farming by connecting them with the appropriate funding, education, and training resources. To find out more about program available, check out their website HERE. To find your local USDA service center, click HERE.

KCTCS offers several certificates in Agriculture. The Kentucky AgVets program can pay for up to two 3-hours courses for veteran participants. (Updated March 2021)
