KCARD Holiday Recipe Series: Peppermint Ice

This is a new favorite in the Lackey family.  My 10-year-old daughter (Hannah) recently created this recipe for a fun break from virtual learning.  It is quite refreshing.”  -- Brent Lackey 

Yield: Approximately 8 ounces   

Ingredients:

  • 1 candy cane (peppermint) 

  • Vanilla Ice Cream 

  • Milk (2% or whole) 

  • Blender 

Directions:

Break the candy cane into 4 pieces

Put 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the blender 

Put the candy cane pieces into the blender 

Pour ½ cup of milk into the blender 

Turn on the blender for 15-30 seconds 

Pour and enjoy
