Eligible Entities:
Kentucky farmers with sales greater than $1,000 and below $250,000
Kentucky-based non-profits that serve multiple Kentucky farmers
Funding Amount:
Up to $5,000 per producer or $15,000 per non-profit.
Overview:
This program helps farmers who want to improve their farming operations and improve the marketability of their products. Applicants may apply under one of the following program areas: Aquaculture & Aquaponics; Certified Organic Agriculture; Value-Added Products; Agroforestry; or, if not eligible under another area, you may apply for a Food Insecure Area Production (if you sell in a food insecure county as defined in the document below).
