Family owned farms with fewer than ten employees in the following counties are eligible to apply: Bell, Breathitt, Clay, Clinton, Floyd, Harlan, Jackson, Johnson, Knott, Knox, Laurel, Lee, Leslie, Letcher, Owsley, Perry, Pike, Whitley, and Wolfe.

Overview:

This fund will provide one-time grants to family scale farmers in southeastern Kentucky to assist them in meeting the new demands brought about by COVID-19. Recipients are encouraged to partner with a local food pantry, backpack program, or other food security program to which they can provide their seconds and excess products.
