On July 25, Kentucky AgVets will host the inaugural Kentucky AgVets Field Day at Cedar Creek Beef Company from 1-4 pm EST. Check out the questions and answers below for more information or if you have additional questions, email kpadgett@kcard.info.
Who is invited to the event?
If you are a veteran in the state of Kentucky and are either actively farming or have an interest in becoming more involved in agriculture, we would love for you to attend! Home Grown by Heroes members and their families are encouraged to attend as well.
Can I bring my Family?
Absolutely! We encourage families to attend and meet other AgVets members. We do ask that you register additional family members online so we have an accurate headcount.
What can we expect during the program?
The event will open with a meal and then we will hear from both Warren Beeler, EngAGe Kentucky Program Speaker and Outreach Director, as well as Jeremy Harrell, founder and CEO of Veterans Club, Inc. Program partners as well as other resource providers from across the Commonwealth will be available to answer questions or discuss upcoming programs. Corn hole boards and other games will be provided for families.
How do I register for the event?
Please visit our website www.kcard.info/kentucky-agvets or click HERE to register! Registration will close one week prior to the event.
How much is registration?
Due to the support of our hosts -- Jewett Borden and his family -- and our sponsors -- Kentucky Proud, Central Kentucky Ag. Credit, Farm Credit Mid-America, CoBank and Kentucky Farm Bureau -- this event is no cost for veterans and their families.
